Clothing Inspirations: Feferi and the Condesce

All of Feferi’s clothing is made of light, floaty silk. Much of it isn’t quite this fancy, but even though her movement is restricted to an apartment almost all the time, the Condesce insists that she be dressed nicely all the same.

Wen she is holding court, the Condesce wears formal robes, similar to this. They are made of heavy brocade silk and are extremely difficult to walk in, so she remains seated most of the time when she is dressed like this.

For non-court functions she dresses more like this. Her clothing is still heavy, but there is far less of a train and she has full use of her hands.

Clothing Inspirations: Gamzee and Grand Highblood

Both Gamzee and the Grand Highblood wear clothing that is similar in style to the traditional formal clothing of Japanese men.

It is looser and more relaxed looking than the clothing that the other male nobles wear, and given their roles in the story, as well as Gamzee’s cannon personality/wardrobe, I felt that this was fitting.
